History of the ISCEH

Established in 1974 with Dr. (Prof.) Rishikesh Jana at Ahmedabad.

Held several teaching workshops and 2 All-India conferences.

Headquarters moved to Baroda in 2008 with Dr. Bhaskar Vyas as President. Held an All-India Conference in 2009 with the them 'Psycho-philosophical Perspectives of Consciousness'.

Dr. Radha Mohan took over as President following election, uncontested. Following 5 years, there were several teaching workshops that were conducted at New Delhi, Jaipur, All India Institute of Medical Sciences - Bangalore, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana - Prashanti Bangalore, and Kolkata. There were  4 national conferences, 2 in Bangalore, and 1 each in Kolkata and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Dr. Jini Gopinath was elected as the national president in 2015.

Dr. Prasanta Kumar Roy was elected as national president in 2017.

The ISCEH has been affiliated as a member of International Society for Hypnosis since inception.
